What you see in this video is the actual Glow In The Dark effect. The glow is strongest immediately after charging and gradually becomes softer over time.

For the best result, make sure the glow-speckled areas receive direct bright light before testing the slides in the dark.

How do the Shark Slides glow?
The glow-in-the-dark material absorbs light and releases it gradually in darker environments. Before use, expose the slides to a torch, flashlight, tube light, CFL bulb or bright LED light and then take them into a darker environment.
How long does the glow last?
The glow remains visible for approximately 2–3 hours after charging. It is brightest immediately after charging and gradually becomes softer over time.
Can I recharge the glow?
Yes. Once the glow starts fading, simply expose the slides to a bright light source again. You can charge, glow, recharge and repeat whenever required.
What do they look like when they are not glowing?
In normal lighting, the slides have a dark charcoal finish with visible silver/white glitter-like speckles. The glow effect becomes noticeable once the slides are charged and taken into a darker environment.
Why do the slides have a glitter-like speckled finish?
The visible speckles are intentional and part of the Glow In The Dark design. In normal lighting, they appear as a silver/white glitter-like speckled finish. After being charged with bright light, these glow elements become visible in the dark and create the signature green glow effect.
Is the sole the same as regular Shark Slides?
No. The Glow In The Dark edition features our Flat Sole construction, which is thinner than our regular Shark Slides and designed to feel lighter, durable and comfortable for everyday wear. If you already own our regular Shark Slides, expect this edition to have a distinctly sleeker and lighter feel.
Will this edition be restocked?
No. This is a 500-pair limited edition drop. Once all 500 pairs are sold, this edition will not be restocked.
Can I return or exchange my pair?
This limited-edition release is not eligible for returns or exchanges. Please review the product details, Flat Sole construction, speckled finish and your selected size carefully before placing your order.
